I purchased this camera because of the price point. I wanted to experiment with an inexpensive option to see how everything works with managing wireless cameras. I installed this in my garage pointed at the door as a check to ensure the door was closed when no one was either awake or at home. I can now check the status of the door anytime.First, the camera takes still pictures when it senses movement and you have some ability to set the amount of time it takes another picture once motion is detected. On a long "sleep" cycle the camera tends to lag a few seconds but once it is activated it seems to be fine. Within the app the camera sometimes appears to be offline but that status is not accurate. Aside from the still pictures you can also select the live feature in the app and watch in real time with motion what the camera is seeing. The images in daylight or dark are clear.The app that runs the camera is easy to learn and understand and again for the price I am very happy. I can save and share images the camera generates and it loop records on my 4GB micro-SD. I get a couple of days worth of images on the card averaging about 16-20 images a day. That is plenty if I need to go back and review.One negative I've noticed is the camera sometimes mistakes light changes as movement. This is usually when clouds quickly block the sun or the sun emerges. This only occurs when the sun is pointing towards the camera. At worst it produces a few false motion notifications. Re-positioning the camera would probably fix this problem.Lastly, this is installed in my garage where lately the night-time temp is well above 85F. Daytime it has been hovering about 100F and the camera is holding its own after several months.If you are looking for an inexpensive solution where you need a camera this has been a good choice for me. AS the product itself states, I would not mount this outside though.

Good ip camera for the money. Used Doby app worked great with setting up one of them, but had to use AIFace app to get the the other one setup. I am using both apps on my android phone both running so if one app gets buggy the other won't be. The camera has usb cord to wall outlet. Connects wirelessly to wifi in home. Insert up to 32gb micro-sd into each camera for recordings to be kept. Apps on phone notify when motion seen by camera and stores a photo in the app (without needing micro-sd card). It has night vision. Not spy camera; is noticable because of small lights in front. I'm not sure it would work outside but might. Only indoor use as far as I know. The camera is smaller than I imagined from the photo on here.

Cant zoom in on the camera but it was money well spent. Left my dog home by himself and I was able to talk to him. Mainly to keep him in camera view Ordering another one so I can see downstairs too.

It was a little tricky getting the app to work, but the next day it connected and works great! Worth the money! Cheapest camera I’ve found! I recommend it, actually clicked on it to buy another one! Just can’t bet the price! Just remember to get a micro sd card!

So far I am loving this camera. It was easy to set up. The notifications that I receive on my phone are awesome. The picture quality is great. Overall I am glad I decided to buy this camera.

I'm very impressed , I only bought 1 because of some of the reviews now I regret it. The camera is great. I have Samsung S7 and downloaded doby connected immediately, no problems locating the wifi, gave me an error message after connecting saying camera offline and while reading the instructions noticed myself on video lol. I'm very happy and will be purchasing several more for my home.

This camera is useless. My husband and I spent several hours trying to get it to sync up to 3 different phones with the app and it absolutely will not! Moreover, the product isn't refundable. It's like they knew it was crap to begin with, so they knew to offer no refunds. I am out the money I spent plus the hours of frustration. Please save yourself the time, money and energy of purchasing this camera. (UPDATE: I have since emailed Amazon and they issued me a full refund. I appreciate that. It still doesn't change the fact that the camera is worthless, so don't trouble yourself buying it.)
