Urban Oxide Women's Speed

I wanted to love this bag -- overall, it is just the right size for me and I like crossbody bags that have nice comfortable straps. I purchased the silver and it is a very nice subdued silver, perfect for summer. The problem is the bag basically has no depth. Vertical and horizontal measurements are big enough to hold everything I need, but those items don't fit because the bag is so narrow. That one inch depth bulks up very quickly with a wallet, keys and cellphone. Try adding some Tylenol and lipsticks and it's totally crammed. Another big problem is that the slip pocket on the front which looks perfectly suited to a cellphone is actually not large enough for any new smartphone, so that pocket is basically useless. The back slip pocket looks handy but has no snap or zipper and I would worry about phone or keys falling out. The small lower zip pocket on the front can hold a couple of lipsticks and that is all. So, while I love the look of the bag, it seems that some extra attention to design and sizing is needed. Does anyone actually try using the pockets for what they are intended? Anyway, this is going back and I'll keep looking...

I have had an Urban Oxide purse of similar size as the Speed for many years and I love it. It is still in good shape but thought I need a new one.Then I ordered the Carry to see if it will serve as my everyday purse as size is much larger. I am still deciding whether or not to keep Speed or return it and use my old one. I use the one I have like Speed as a travel purse and it is a perfect size.

Perfect! Organized and great lines. Compliments galore from everyone. Goes great with everything. Only a few dollars cheaper by purchasing on Amazon though. The retails sell for just a few $$ more if you can't wait. Urban Oxide did it again. Love their products.

I love Urban Oxide purses! The styles are amazing, the materials unusual and eye-catching. This is the perfect everyday running around town bag. The cellphone pocket fits my Galaxy phone, and the various zipper compartments keep me organized.

Great color and size. I use the small pocket in front for business cards, the top zipper pocket for my cell phone. This is my second purse of this style.

The color is too much. Not what I was expecting. I own this purse in black & love it. Great purse. Bad color.

This is my 3rd version of this model--it is perfect for me. The new pocketing was a change, as I have to learn to put my phone in a zippered pocket, but it is a lean, mean and useful addition to my basic kit!

At first I thought it was going to be too small, but I managed to re-package everything from my larger purse. Now I love it. It's chic, durable and goes with me everywhere. The last Urban Oxide purse I got was much larger and, from continuous use, it kind of caved in. This one is very compact and the different compartments are awesome (I use them all). I'm actually far more organized with this purse-no more rummaging around for things that I've tossed into different places and then forgotten about. Efficiency and fashion-it doesn't get any better than this.
