Sunday Afternoons Men's Charter Hat

This hat is well made, sized perfectly and looks great! On a side note, the hat was packed with other items from my order and they were quite heavy and even though the packaging was insufficient the hat seemed to put up with the stress very well--speaks of how well it is made for a reasonable price!

I live out in the Mojave Desert about an hour away from Death Valley, The Sun out here is relentless so we need good cover from the sun. This hat is perfect for that. It's lightweight, very comfortable, and provides good air flow. The tie down also works great in the wind. I highly recommend this hat.

The first real test for this hat comes in a few weeks, so I'll update this initial review.Quality- nicely made, symmetrical sewing, no loose threads.Design- a bit wider brim than typical in this style. Brim is substantial and should not blow around in wind or appear floppy and wavey.Size- According to the fitment chart, a large should have been just big enough. Nope, way too big, could not even adjust it small enough to fit. Reordered the Med which fits nicely with no adjustment. Note the item description in the basket said it is a Medium-Large, but hat is labeled Med.Color- mine is a dark taupe, lighter than olive. It will hold up better than the lighter khaki.Performance- will update later. As others note, the mesh top portion is lined with fabric inside, TBD if it breathes well enough in the heat.

Trying to find a comfortable hat to wear while on the golf course or on the lake to protect my neck and ears. The Sunday Hat is comfortable, looks good but is sized a little on the large side. The adjustable strap helps but I normally wear a large hat and had to sinch the strap down as far as it would go to get the hat to have a decent fit.I do wish the hat had a band around for appearance sakes and that the chin strap was detachable. Thought about cutting it but instead tucked the tail of the strap into the hat's inner pocket and out of the way. The vents do a good job of keeping air flowing and the brim is easily wide enough to protect my ears and neck from the sun.Packaging could have been better. The width and length of the shipping box was perfect but the height of the box was too short and pressed the crown of the hat down. The wired brim was easily adjusted from the flat packaging but it did take a while before I could work the wrinkles out of the squished crown.All in all.. I'd recommend this hat. Just be careful of the sizing. If the Large is too large for windy days on the golf course, I'll pick up a Medium and use the Large when I mow the yard.

These hats are well built and above all, they look great and work as stated. I have 3 of these and my wife has three. They stand up well and are one of the best I have bought in the past. We live in Florida and the sun is sometimes difficult here to say the least. We have used these hats in the rain, wind and sun. They are particularly good if you are a beach goer or fisherman or just work in the yard or garden. We use ours a lot off shore and on cruises. Great in the islands. We evidently like these hats because we have 6 in total.

I walk my dog a couple of times a day, usually in the mornings and early evenings. This hat is very light and comfortable to wear, and lets in plenty nice air while protecting me from the sun. It's a nice looking hat too!

This is a great hat. Well made and very stylish. We live in the Phoenix area so it is almost mandatory to have a hat like this. Waiting to see how it travels which is coming up soon.

Living in the Tropics I wear a hat for sun (and some rain) protection. Finding protection and ventilation is a challenge. 3rd concern is style. This sunday's hat is perfect! Very light weight, great coverage, adjustable inside size band, comfortable sweatband, ( Inside hidden crown pocket), Comfortable adjustable chin strap, and wide floating foam core brim. Even the sunglass keeper works flawlessly. packs flat. I think it's very fashionable and the fact easy clean and Galaxy.Well, it's a bit more expensive.Even twice as much as the less expensive ADS.This is going to far out last 7.Is much more comfortable.I know because I have several of the others. I actually went ahead and bought this one because I was so disappointed with some of the others I'd received. I Give a super strong recommendation of this one. ( Full disclosure. I have another compass model. Happened from Sundays that I've had for 5 years at least and it works great, this is just a bit narrower brim and more stylish. And not quite as large as brim. But it's super super comfortable with even better ventilation)
