Happy Mane for sure!
My daughter had swim week, 7th grade, she typically dreads it because of her hair. At this time, she had a full head of Senegalese twists. I got her favorite color blue. She was pleased with the cap. She said some water creeped in around the edges but wasn’t drenched. She said she got compliments and everyone thought her cap was so cool. She thought it was awesome everyone wanted to know where her Mom got it from.Amazon.....another win for Mom!

Didn't work for me...
I have thick, long (mid back) African American hair with lots of shrinkage. I wore my hair in a low side bun the first time I wore this cap, and my hair was soaked. Thinking it was my choice of hairstyle, the 2nd time I wore my hair up in a high, tight ponytail and tucked the rest of my hair inside the scrunchie I used for the ponytail, but my hair still got soaked. Third time, I did the same style, and made sure I let all of the air out of my cap before getting in the water - it still got wet. While this cap definitely covers all of my hair, it still got wet on all 3 occasions I've used this cap. I don't understand why all of these companies advertise that their cap will keep your hair dry when they don't. This is the 4th swimming camp brand I've tried - I'm so frustrated. I'm finally learning to swim after 40+ years, but can't find a cap that will do what the brand says it will do - protect my fragile hair from breaking due to chlorine damage! For all of the people that said their hair stayed dry, I would love to know what they did to prevent water from seeping inside the cap when going underwater or when side breathing in between strokes.

Works fine
Only used it once and didn’t go under the water. It kept my hair dry except for a little roll up in the back.

Quality product. It's great for long locs/hair!!!!
I am extremely pleased with this product. I have a teenage daughter who has really really long locs. She began a new year of swim classes and I was searching for a QUALITY, yet cost effective, swim cap for her. I was concerned if the swim cap would be oversized due to the fact that she is younger, but it's not an issue and appears that it would work for a majority of different sizes. She's so happy! And of course, teenage girls care about there appearance. So she was stylish too! Really like this product. Thanks.

Keeps my hair dry! Love it!
Listen! This loc cap is thee truth! I actually bought this cap about a year ago and didn’t get an opportunity to use it until this year. I have worn this swim cap a total of 4 times. Each time, my hair stayed about 95% dry. I had a real small amount of dampness in the back but other than that, I was good to go. And I’m a swimmer so I was completely underwater. I have medium length locs but my hair is really thick. So I put my hair in a top messy bun before putting my cap on. But I would totally recommend this cap. I’ve also let me cousin borrow it on her vacation and she has locs too and she was amazed that her hair stayed dry!

XL size but tight
(I love to write so let me get to the point before you read. The XL cap was tight on my head but packaging was fine. Nothing tore. Did not test swim yet ). When I first received my package it looks small but you have to open it up with your hands. I read reviews before opening so I carefully did without tearing the cap apart. I put it on my head and all of my hair was able to come in the cap. The bad thing was that it was WAY too tight. My mom showed me how she put it on so I decided to loosen it up more for myself. It was a bit better but still tight. I tested if it was just because it was my first time wearing it so I left it on for 30 minutes. After I took it off it left a mark on my head and I still felt the weight left on my head where the cap was. It came in a zip bag and was in neat packaging. I would try to make a cap that supports the head so it can be relaxing while swimming. I will test the cap to see if it meets it's needs to not seep in water. It might adjust after entering the pool.

Versatile
Love the large caps. I have alopecia and I wear wigs. It’s very difficult to swim with wigs and I don’t like to wear a cap over my bald head. The happy mane is perfect! I can wear a wig, keep it dry, swim and have fun.Thank you for your product.

It's ok....
It's ok. It is actually bigger. But if your expectation is to keep your hair dry while while doing ANY type of swimming where you head even touched the water..... this ain't for you. All it really does is keep you your hair from getting completely drenched in chlorine. The issue is the space around your ears. Unless you want to put your eyes in it too, your hair still gets wet. It's actually getting worse over time because it's stretching I think. My search continues....
