Great hobbyist tablet though the driver software leaves some to be desired.
4/5 StarsSummary: The Veikk A50 tablet is a great hobbyist tablet at a reasonable price point. The quality of the tablet itself is great; from the feel of the writing surface to the buttons and gesture pad. The biggest setback is the driver that pairs the tablet to various programs. It is bare bones and can mostly get the job done but it leaves much to be desired.Pros:1. Very Sensitive: Pressure sensitivity starts from a very light touch giving a wide range possible pressures.2. Buttons Responsive: There is tactile feedback from the buttons that are a clear indicator of when they have been pressed.3. Easy Initial Setup: Nearly Plug and Play the drivers are easy to install and it works from the first plugin.4. Large Drawing Area: The large canvas allows for very precise illustration even on a large screen.5. Nib Replacement Simple: A quick 3 step process that results in a new and secure nib every time (at least the few times I tried it).Cons:1. Driver/Configurator: The well thought out design is contrasted with a configurator that is non intuitive and in desperate need of a redesign.2. Touch Pad: The pad itself is fine but instead of being satisfied I wish it was an actual touch pad so I could operate the mouse.3. Dual Monitor: I did some troubleshooting but I think the fact that my dual monitor setup has 2 different resolutions made mapping to a single monitor problematic.4. Compatibility: The item is fairly new on the market so I understand some compatibility issues but trying to get inkscape and gimp2 to try and automatically detect and activate the tablet proved a pain. (though works great in programs like OneNote)Notes: Not necessarily "Cons" but something to note before buying1. Labeling: There are 8 buttons on this pad and none of them are labeled if you are like me it will take a lot of getting used to and trying to remember which is which.2. Boarder Labels: The border of the drawing area of the pad are very small dots that are not visible in low light.3. Noise: It took some getting used to but initially the noise from pushing the pen down was noticeable but it went away quickly.4. Sleek Design: Does not stand out on a modern desk, nearly a minimalist design. Some might see this as a negative but for me with was a welcome design choice.Tablet Sensitivity 5/5Tablet Quality 4/5Tablet Ease of Use 4/5Driver Quality 2/5Driver Ease of Use 3/5Driver Compatibility 3/5Final notes: This tablet is a great hobbyist tablet. The pressure sensitivity is accurate and the whole tablet itself is well built. If you are willing to put in a bit of time in the beginning to get it personalized to you it is a quality tablet at a great price point. I would definitely recommend this tablet and if the driver/configurator gets a quality update it will be on my gifting list for a long time.

Great tablet for budget digital artists
The media could not be loaded. The Veikk A50 10x6 inch Digital Graphics Drawing Tablet is a versatile tablet for entry to mid-level artists. The tablet weighs 2.13 pounds and measures at a total of 14.9 x 8.7 inches. The package includes a battery-free pen, 8 replacement nibs, a nib remover, a pen pocket for storage, USB cable, and a quick guide. The driver software for this tablet can be easily found on their website at veikk.com. One of the first things I noticed about their site is how clean it looked compared to most other driver software sites. I did run into some minor hiccups during the driver installation, but that’s mostly due to me incorrectly following the steps. Make sure you don’t have any other tablet driver software installed on your system before installing the Veikk tablet driver. ANd make sure the tablet is plugged in before you start the installation. After a quick restart, the tablet is ready to go.If you have multiple monitors, you can set the active screen area to be throughout all of them, or just limited to one. You can even set custom active areas on the tablet itself which is a nice bonus. The tablet has 8 tactile buttons and a touchpad routed for 4 directional gestures. This touchpad is actually really nice for manipulating screen zoom and pen size without having to reach for the keyboard. Of course, all the individual buttons are customizable to any macros you want as well. The pen feels extremely light and comes with two buttons that can be customized. Personally, I don’t find myself using these as much and I often accidentally press one of the pen buttons with my thumb during drawing. The drawing performance of the tablet feels good. I really like the texture between the tablet and pen nib, giving it a paper-like feeling. There is plenty of active area to work with, so you can get precise lines. After doing some practices runs with the tablet, I found myself drawing comfortably. One minor complaint is that the pen does not come with any pen stands or holders aside from a little pouch. If you find yourself losing your pen easily, you might want to get yourself a stand. Otherwise, this is a nonissue. The Veikk A50 graphics tablet is a lightweight drawing tablet that can easily fit inside your laptop bag for on-the-go digital art. For the price, it is a highly recommended drawing tablet for beginner and intermediate digital artists. As a fan of sleek design and portability, this drawing tablet gets my recommendation.

Great tablet
This one is a very good tablet as it aims for beginner and pro digital art. Good price for more features on it.*Pros*- Great and clean design. Looks sturdy a bit in durability. Buttons and touchpad are positioned nicely on the left if you're right handed or right with the tablet flipped over if you're a lefty.- Responsive at a certain angle between pen and surface.- Fully compatible with Photoshop and other imaging software.- More space to draw to your heart's content.- Extra buttons and touchpad are easy to manipulate controls to zoom, move, undo, etc., regardless of any imaging software. They will work well.- Somewhat ergonomic with drawing on the surface with the pen. Feels nice. Again, a certain angle will be required for it to work effectively. Laying it flat may or may not work. I tried that and learned a lesson from it.*Cons*- Jitters will persist if you don't install the driver in admin mode. You will have a bad time, and they are disrupting the drawing in your project.- Same annoying squeak when drawing. A workaround of your own can fix that.*Overall*I think it's a very good tablet for the price of $56. Great choice for beginners and pros alike.

Ummm???? 10x6 for less than $80!?! sign me up
The pen, spoiler alert, is GOODDD, thanks Satan and the heavens and whoever else, it's actually good! It responsive as my other pen! The pen pressure is great which is the most important thing!! The pen had a great thickness that i like, i dont like thin pens much at all so im happy with this one. although I wish the pen button was a bit more raised, it's flat so you dont press it by mistake although I enjoyed the hight for clicking, like, all new tablet pens have flat pen buttons and I'm not a fan really. bring back raised buttons!!! the hot keys are responsive and clicky, although I'm not the biggest fan of the touch area. but it's aight not the best but aight I can get behind her i think ill like it the more i use it. I think i just enjoy buttons a lot. but i can see people enjoying the touch pad a lot. The drawing surface is good! really nice!! it has just enough (great amount) of resistant so its not too slippery like plastic!! it feels awesome, I'm kinda addicted to it lol much better than my old tablet!! instead of buying a $90 tablet just get this and use the leftover money to get a drawing software you like honestly.the biggest fa

Great Value and Customer Service
The tablet itself is amazing and great value for the size. What made this even better was great customer service. My stylus nib had broken inside the device, I contacted them and they responded quickly, giving me a replacement. Would buy again.
