When I received the blanket I was so excited to try it. I had never heard of a weighted blanket and I was so suprised by it's weight. It was heavy. I could carry the blanket upstairs to my room but barely. I opened the box and I was also suprised there was two pieces. I inserted the beaded piece inside the duvet cover and I begin to affix and tye the insides in place. It would have been nice to have had some instructions on the package or a small insert inside because I felt like I was guessing with the assembly. Once the blanket was together and I slipped underneath, I immediately noticed how cool I felt. I sleep with the central air blowing and this blanket kept me cool throughout the night. The heaviness of the blanket on my body felt intriguingly good. It felt like being snuggly tucked in and secure in your favorite person's arms. I slept so good that night, I didn't even remember falling asleep. I did not wake or toss and turn during the night and I woke up completely rested. I noticed I fell asleep faster that I usually do. My 10 year old son asked me if he could try getting under the blanket and said it felt so comfy that he wanted to sleep with it. I reluctantly gave up my blanket to him one night and he said sleeping felt so good. He asked if he could buy one with his savings and he wanted to know if they made it for kids. Overall, this blanket has greatly enhanced my sleep experience and I couldn't imagine sleeping without it.

Pros: The blanket's weight is very nice. I would not say it feels like a snug hug, but the weight definitely has a slightly calming effect. I suffer from PTSD, Bipolar Depression, and severe Anxiety. I have wanted to try a weighted blanket for some time. Surprisingly, the blanket is also not overly warm, which is a good thing, as I get very hot in my sleep. I would recommend this to anyone with anxiety, as the pressure created by the blanket is just the right amount to begin to sooth frazzled nerves.Cons: There were already loose threads coming apart from the blanket AND from the duvet cover upon receipt. It was most definitely not simple to get the duvet cover secured over the blanket, and even once on, the duvet cover only secures on 3 sides, plus the corners, leaving one side completely unsecured, allowing for the potential for the blanket to bunch up within the center of the cover. Which it does.

I love this blanket!! My favorite features are: the built in weighted pockets (a friend and I were discussing hers that has little bean bags you have to put in pockets individually, sounds like such a chore), the duvet cover so there's no need to worry about washing the heavy blanket, the ties in the duvet to keep it in place (genius), the weight of the blanket itself, and the crisp white color. My husband and I both tried it out and felt relaxed and comfortable while using it. The weight of the blanket helped to relax my tight muscles too.

I am an individual who has wanted to obtain a weighted blanket for a long time, but due to the price have been unable to until recently. I’ve done tons of research on the benefits of weighted blankets, and after using this blanket, I can see why. I have slept more soundly, and have had less uninterrupted sleep. I have come to the point that I cannot sleep well without it.Recently, I suffered from an anxiety attack. And when it happened I wrapped myself up in the blanket, and instantly felt soothes and was able to get my aniexty back in check. I would be interested to see if it would be possible me to create an angel wrap (blanket that goes around the shoulders) with the weight to help those with anxiety and other problems.I have never had a blanket as good as this one, so I am very happy with Harmonia and this blanket, and plan on encouraging others to buy one as well!

I just received my blanket it looks and feels very cheap the material is not high quality , more like recycled as it is not bright white. it is super thin and ugly so i though i would just cover it with the included cover. the included cover is just as thin as the blanket. Also because it is so heavy it looks so stupid inside the cover because all it does it bunch up as it is hard to lay it flat inside the cover. For the price i paid this should have been a quality material not some cheap recycled stuff. i have not had a chance to use it yet as it just came but at this point i am not sure if i just want to return it or test it out. super disappointing!!!!

My husband didn't like it, so that just means I don't have to share! It is heavy. As a mom of a 2yr old that keeps climbing into bed w us and a 6mo old that still wakes many times throughout the night, it's tough to tell if it has impacted my sleep, but I do like it! Sometimes I lay it over the babes tummy/legs so she thinks I'm still there w my arm over her.The cover, however, I took off after one night... maybe it should zip all the way around on the inside? The blanket just fell to the middle...not enough points of attachment inside.Plenty warm and very comfortable.

I loved how the weight of the blanket gave me the feeling of being cuddled and comforted as if someone else was beside me and yet I was free to move in any direction and still have that same comfort.I like the fact that even though the blanket is weighted it felt cool, even in hot weather. I think this could be improved even further by removing the polyester filling and using cotton filling instead.If one has restless leg syndrome, the weight keeps one more still even though the feeling of restlessness still moves in currents inside the body, but is somewhat comforted and more relaxed.I think single people and those needing comfort in the night would especially enjoy this cozy comforting blanket. With less weight it could definitely be a benefit to children, who feel a need to sleep with/against another person. Parents may benefit by being able to sleep alone with themselves or with their spouse again, yet knowing their child is comforted. I really love the concept of this blanket!I wish it came in more colors and also lighter weights for child and youth to enjoy also!

I really like using this blanket it has definitely improved my sleep. I like the feeling of the weight on my body, it relaxes me , makes me feel snug and safe. It doesn’t get you hot either which is really nice.

I never knew there was such a thing as a weighted blanket till I came across this!I do struggle to fall asleep so this really helped me float away.Its quite heavy and does weigh you down so you feel very snuggled up as you drift away slowly.I dont even remember how long it's been since I've had this much of a good night sleep.Would definitely recommend!!

Absolutely love this a bit on the expensive side but really comfortable it is quite heavy so wouldn’t recommend for kids as sometimes I have trouble rolling over in it but it’s moulds to your body when you lie under it. The material is nice and soft and it comes with a free washable cover as well over all I love it just a bit on the pricey side and so heavy

I have wanted a weighted blanket for so long and was so put off by the high costs until I stumbled across this gem. It fits my bed perfectly and is light enough to be used with a duvet cover but thick enough to use alone if you get hot at night. It makes such a difference to how I feel in bed, it really is like being in a warm hug. I am living between two houses at the moment and can't move this from one to the other, and on nights when I am without it I notice its absence strongly. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone, particularly those with anxiety or those who like the comfort of someone else's weight. If you wear it standing up, it really does feel like a full body hug.

I love this blanket it kept me nice and cool at the same time as warm, I’ve had really good sleeps since using it my husband on the other hand found it didn’t cover him enough and too heavy for him. I would recommend it to people but also explain it’s not for everyone but I love mine.
