Terrible service from company. All round.Ordered the bed and it was 3 weeks late. Every week I was chasing this up and told it would be next week. This went on for 3 weeks as you can imagine.When the delivery came I was given less than an hours notice to get in my house!The bed finally came and as I start to build the bed, I notice the front has a massive chunk of wood smahed off bigger than my hand. Massive cosmetic damage.I would advise not using the Happy Bed company. Never had this level of problems with any company in my life.

Love this bed, it arrived on time as agreed with the seller, the instructions were ok and I made the mistake of not knowing what side of the bed was the left side.Although the sides were lableled left and right it was how you see the sides of the bed.Is left as you look at the bed or left as you lay in the bed... for future reference it's as you lay in the bed and I think that could be added to the instructions.

Excellent bed, easy to put all parts together (maybe 1 hour for one person). Seems quality bed, not perfect but quality. I will see in time how good it is. Excellent delivery service- i had an interval of 3 hours with 3 days before and also i had a call with 20 minutes before delivery. Like an ideea, you can stick 2 rubber on the metal frame to stop the noise (metal to metal) when you close the top frame. My bed is normal double but also i can fit and king size matters 👍🏻.Buy with confidence.Thank you

Bed beautifuly made and good quality and looks great,and easy to assemble when assembled the price you paid feels great when you look at the finished article. Only two minor problems when assembling the beds metal frame I found four nuts what go on the bolts connecting the metal frame together missing and the second minor issue is the screws in the head board are not covered or painted to match the headboards paint work,but as I said minor issues and would be happy to recommend happy beds . A good bed, at a good price. First thing to note is that this is the ottoman made by Birlea - not clear in product title.Secondly, when you build this bed - because it comes in five boxes and dozens, if not hundreds, of components - heed Birlea's advice and build with two people. I built it myself. It took most of an afternoon and some areas were physically very challenging to do solo (e.g. Placing the metal base on top of (elevated) hydraulics to join them)Positives• Once it is completed, the bed feels sturdy. I was worried it would be flimsy at points in the build - but don't worry. It's solid.• A generous amount of storage - I needed an ottoman, as we're short of bedroom storage. The area is quite substantial. Bigger than expected.• The rubberwood top/side/bottom look pretty nice. Fairly close to pine in colour. (Though not as orange)Negatives• The "base" (if you can call it that) of the storage area is, quite frankly, rubbish. It consists of some 1/2cm flimsy board that, quite literally, sits straight on the carpet. Not fixed in any way to the bed. But I suppose it means there is some sort of barrier there.• Sooooo much wasteful packaging! Argh. Cardboard was fine - I took it all to be recycled - but the amount of plastic wrap and polystyrene within was terrible. I felt awful throwing it all in landfill. Please manufacturers - get better.• The lead/delivery time via HappyBeds was quite substantial. That said, they and the courier they chose were good.All in all, I'm very happy with the bed - in consideration of what I paid for it (around £300) I feel this offered good value, and will last for many years to come.

Great bed frame - perfect storage, well made, nice solid stylish design, straight forward to assemble with a friend - took about 3 hours. Very helpful customer services sent out pack of hardware fittings, first class same day, when one of the nuts had a faulty thread.Cannot recommend the mattress - Membound - open coil springs with two layers of foam - just too uncomfortable for me. Pocket springs mattress probably better option or buy mattress elsewhere. Note: 30 days to return item (cheaper to arrange a local courier to do this, Happy Beds will charge £60 to collect, no charge to send out a different mattress.)

This is a good sturdy bed looks beautiful but mine came with one little chip at the front but is only noticeable up close delivery was great as was packaging and the instructions I bought this with the pocket sprung mattress which I have to say for the price is fabulous and super comfy I love how deep the ottoman space is if I'm honest bed looks very expensive and will last a very long

I really like this product, it looks good and the mattress is excellent value. It took a while to construct, about 2 and a half hours but was not particularly difficult.I would have given 5 stars but for two things1. I ordered from Amazon expecting delivery between 13th and 16th October, however despatch email from Happy Beds stated 7 to 9 working days from the 12th! This was confirmed when I contacted the company. I find this disparity unacceptable. However, Happy Beds did respond very quickly to my query, and the courier company were very efficient, the bed arrived within the delivery slot, on the 18th.2. One of the metal fixing plates had been attached incorrectly. This caused a major panic for a few moments as it first appeared more serious than it was.All in all, a good buy, good value for money.
