I have 2 pit-mixes and have never been able to find sweaters that fit them well. Nothing fits their barrel chests right and they end up stretching out the neck and they end up looking like they have a tube top . Or the velco wont stay in place and they end up slipping out of it. I purchased one for me male who is much harder to fit and it was perfect. I ended up buying 1 more for him and 2 for my female. The velco is super strong and stays closed. The sweaters washed well and don't shrink. These are the best!

I purchased this for my 16 year old Pomeranian. We have him trimmed pretty short, summer and winter, so I felt he needed a coat in the cold weather for going outside. I liked the idea of the coat having a velcro closure under the neck as well as another one under the belly; however, it's right over the place where he pees, so it gets soaked each time we go out. I have tried to close it under his chest, but it rides back. I may need to try to alter the closure for it to be satisfactory.

I purchased an XS for a 17" (from nose to butt), 7 lb Chihuahua mix.It is a nice fleece with large Velcro straps that cover the chest and underbelly. The Velcro straps make it easy to put on and take off.It would've fit, except we use a harness when walking the dog. Because on this product the slit seems to be made for a collar, not a harness, it puts the Velcro strap under his belly too far backwards and he ends up urinating on the Velcro strap. So if you walk your dog with a harness, rather than a collar, this may not fit properly. I'll just make another slit farther back to make it fit better with a harness.

Great fleece, for, the cold pup! Ordered, an xl, for our 38lb. spaniel mix, with a head, to tail, measurement, of 20".The coat fit perfect, except for one problem.....the underneath part of the coat, covered up, his man parts. Tried it on, our 35lb. cocker... same problem....perfect fit, but, covered, the man parts. So, last resort...tried, it on our 30lb. beagle.... a bit big, around the middle, but, perfect length, and, since, she has no man parts....she, now, has a new coat:)

I ordered a size large for my elderly 25lb cocker spaniel mix. We have a sweater that we always used to put on him in cold weather but it had leg holes and his arthritis eventually made it painful to get his legs through those openings. This jacket is just what I wanted, very soft and warm, comfortable, and with Velcro closures that make putting it on easy and pain-free. Sometimes our dog is cold even in the house, and this is comfortable enough for him to wear inside and while dozing in his bed. It’s nice that you can fold the neck up and down for more or less coverage. Would definitely buy again; my old friend is warm and happy.

this is really cute and decent quality. the XXL was too small for my 110lb Bernadoodle... one complaint i have, the velco around the neck part was done correctly so the softer part is the part facing the skin and the rough part is facing out. however, the velcro on the stomach strap was backwards so the rough part, which was VERY rough, was facing the skin.

I wanted dog sweaters that I did not have to stretch over their heads, and then I found these with Velcro. Oh is it great to just have to connect two flaps under their chest, and you are ready to go. Thank you, I love them, oh and the price is great!

Easy to put on versus a sweater you have to put their legs through. I love the Velcro feature. Warm and soft for the winter months.
