I mainly bought this set as a cheap source of spare technic parts to create other models with. But I bought another set, identical to this one, as I can use both motors to make a tracked skid-steer vehicle with two remote control motors.This set doesn't feature remote control steering, only straight line forward and backward motion, so good for making dragsters & hot rods for the scale quarter mile competition, but not for going round corners!The remote control works as it should, it comes with one USB rechargeable battery pack for the motor battery box, but you will need an additional 3x AA size batteries for the remote control unit. All technic bricks are very similar to lego technic bricks and are compatible with them. They are however not of the same quality plastic and a couple of the blue connectors have broken, but all the big pieces appear ok.Overall a good set for beginners and those wanting a cheap supply of additional technic bricks to build other models with and definitely worth the £6.99 I paid for this set. The instructions are very similar to the usual lego style instructions and are easy to follow. All the pieces that were supposed to be there (in both sets) were there and work as they should. The only thing missing is a set of stickers to decorate the set once built.

Some parts snapped and instructions are not comprehensive. Link to website quickly descended into Chinese only. Disappointing.
