Update: throwing down to one star, after less than 20 miles of waking on ice, half of the crampons fell off. Fell today on ice and hurt my butt and my ego. And now there's crampons all over the wilderness waiting to be eaten by wildlife or whatever happens trip metal crampons in the wild. Photo attached to reflect poor product.These work for my intention of walking the dog on icy sidewalks. However, after the first walk of only 1.5 miles, one metal crampon already fell off. Also, they seem to be rusting pretty bad after only 5 walks. (some of this could be a result of sidewalk salt.)Again, these work, especially with the velcro on top which aide in not losing the whole attachment while walking, however these probably won't see more than a season of use before you'll need to buy new ones.

Good for safely walking on ice and they are easy to slip on!

These rusted out after just a few uses. Make them stainless steal and rust proof!

Love the sharp tines that dig into ice, but the rubber that goes over my footwear feels like it won't last a season. I've worn these about 5x and I already worry the orange rubber will tear.The other kind of awkward thing is the straps that secure the cleats. Since there isn't a "right" and "left" cleat, both hook on the same side, so you have to clumsily reach over one of the boots to secure the strap. Not a big deal, but awkward.

I’m sending these back, both sets ripped first use where they hold on to boot (yes I even used size chart to ensure proper size for our boots) the cleat part had ripped on in a couple spots as well. These may be okay for someone doing light walk to a mail box in winter but that’s about it.
