Good, but battery to tool issue on the vacuum
Great adapter, let’s you keep your old tools and upgrade the batty technology. Only issue I found was with the small hand held vacuum the adapter slides on just fine, but the new battery will not clear the housing of the vacuum. The original battery is set in the tool and clears, the new batteries are a little wider. Looks like you can trim the housing of the vacuum enough for the battery to clear.Ps added photos of how I had to trim theHand vacuum. Took maybe 30 minutes.

Where have you been all my life
Why B&D doesn't make and sell this battery adapter is beyond me. Why adapt when you can get us to buy new. This adapter fits my old B&D tools and all I did was buy a lithium battery and lithium battery charger. Purchase the bigger LBXR20 AMP batteries.

Must have for the older B & D Batteryy Tools
This is worth the money. I was ready to sell my Fire Storm kit for $35. Now I have another set of tools using this adapter. I no longer have to deal with the older style batteries.

Simple, slim, effective
I have an old B&D pole saw that takes the HPB18-OPE 18V NiCd batteries. This adapter allows me to use the lithium ion batteries, which give me much more consistent performance and better run times.
