My daughter made me buy her a record player for Christmas. Crazy. She likes Dolly so I bought this Dolly Parton greatest hits LP. She’s played it several times so far. It has 9 to 5 and some other ones I know. Great.

this dolly parton's greatest hits cd is wonderful
dolly parton has to be one of the most hard-working celebrities that i can think of. she does everything from t.v. work and movies to cds and dvds. it is precisely her charm, sass and talent that keeps her going and makes her irresistible. you just can't help but love her. even while on stage at concerts, dolly works the crowd giving 110% plus to her fans and audience which span all generations in age. everybody loves dolly whether child or adult. if you do not believe me, check out the dvd selection that amazon.com offers and see if you can find a dvd of her concerts or a copy of one of her movies ( i suggest start with the movie "9 to 5"). as for this particular greatest hits cd, it offers several of dolly's memorable hits. i love the whole cd lineup but if i had to be particular i would say that i like track "9 to 5" (where she starred in the movie with the same name), track "i will always love you" (which the now deceased whitney houston did a remake of for the film "body guard" with actor kevin costner)and who could forget of course her duet with kenny rogers, track "islands in the stream" which has been musically sampled so many times that i can hardly count. each project that dolly touches seems to turn into gold and rightfully so. when it comes to dolly parton the saying "you reap what you sow" seems to be the legacy and mantra that follows her. i mean dolly parton's works are so prolific that it is hard to imagine that one person could have accomplished so much in life in such little time, but when it comes to dolly it is true and her fans can attest to it. again, this cd is a great introduction to new fans and a soothing ride on memory bliss for the long-time fans. get this cd and you'll be a hooked dolly parton fan for life! we love you dolly and keep the hits coming!

Ein sehr gut produziertes Album mit wirklich klasse Titeln. Es sind keine Ausfälle dabei, sondern man kann die CD durchaus einlegen und komplett hören, ohne die "Weiter-Taste" zu bemühen. Wer diese Scheibe hat, braucht kaum mehr etwas anderes von Dolly Parton.
