Power Acoustik XPS-104 4" Midrange 300W Speaker

I purchased 4 of these Midrange speakers in June 2013 and installed them in my van. I have a pioneer head unit running these speakers and they are great. I do not know what a few people are saying that they are crap but I disagree. These speakers put out good midrange sound, even very good midrange bass as well and doing it off a un-amped head unit.These speakers are priced very well for the quality and I can't knock them.If you buy them and use them for what they are desinged for then you will be happy.I plan on getting 4 more for my car.3/28/2017 Update:Well I got 4 more of these Power Acoustik XPS-104 midrange speakers and put them in my 2015 Honda Fit doors to add a little extra to my 6.5" speakers already in the door. What can I say $50.00 bucks and extra midrange sound add to all 4 doors - nice.

Hooked up as the mid on a 3-way crossover. Almost too loud. Overpowers the other two. Still fine tuning it in. Excellent.

uh... no. i had a 20 watt 2 channel sterio, and it couldnt even handle it. it trys to hit bass and cant perform it, there not louud. there not bass'ey, there not anything, firepitis where mine went i bought 2, so ik it isnt the speaker

I listen to loud music with good quality. I purchased a pair of this speakers to use as a midrange in my car 3 way system. I have 200 watts ( real 200 watts )alpine 4 channel amp that I set high pass filter on 400 hertz for mids and highs. And also I used a .09 mh. Inductor to filter the high frequency and a zobal network ( 5 ohm resistor and 10 micro farad capacitor ) to stabilize the frequency for these speakers and they sound fantastic even in high volume. I highly recommend this speaker if you use a crossover. (Of course they don't sound like nakamichi or .....) . Great buy. I almost forgot to thank amazon for fast and free delivery like always. This one less than 24 hours.

I bought this speaker to replace the worn out and broken speaker for my JBL center surround speaker. I was skeptical in regards to the ohm rating from this speaker to the OEM I needed to replace. The mounting holes lined up with that of the speaker enclosure so the install went well. I just had to modify the OD of the speaker flange only to fit. Once the install was complete. The speaker performed as good if not better than the original. Center speakers are more robust these days and I didn't want to buy a new one from say Best Buy. This speaker was very reasonably priced and I saved a bunch of money in buying this speaker to fix the JBL unit.

Bought 2 of these to replace mid range speaker in my home speakers. 1 was fine the other was bent as shown. I will attempt to fix and hope the cone isn't damaged. Not sure if this is coming from manufacturer, seller or Amazon but Someone needs to pay attention in handling these.

I like the clear sound it makes. I used it to replace a blown midrange in my home speaker box.
