Great replacement for leaking Brita UltraMax spigot.
Bought this to replace the spigot on my Brita UltraMax Dispenser ("slim" design). The original spigot has begun to slowly leak water at year ~4 and I was unable to permanently fix it or get a replacement from Brita. Scoured Amazon to find 3rd-party replacements that's relatively cheap and had proven reviews. This one fit the bill. Purchased for ~US$6.65 and received 4 as advertised. The length of the neck is a bit longer than the original but was not a huge issue. The diameter I think was slightly smaller than the original but did not affect its function. Plenty of silicone washers so you could add them inside/outside to prevent leaks from both sides. Assembling it is the same as the original. Once cleaned and attached, it functioned perfectly.

Make sure the measurement is correct!!!!
The media could not be loaded. I have 2 containers for flavored water and both were damaged, so I bought these spare parts and the truth is that they work well, except that these are larger than the entrance, so I had to make larger holes in my container, I had to use a drill to be able to make them fit, so if you are going to buy them make sure they fit, if not, you will have to make the hole larger or buy some that fit to size.( 5/8)

Super-Charge Your Laundry Detergent Dispenser
I bought these faucets for installation on an old plastic ice cooler and on a liquid laundry detergent dispenser, as described below. Installation is eazy. Once you have the properly sized hole, insert the main body with the threaded pipe through the hole, and secure it using the included nut and washers. You might want to take the additional step of using a hacksaw or other implement to remove any excess threaded pipe, which might become a nuisance.I bought a large jug of laundry detergent with a push-button faucet on the side. The detergent was so-so but I liked the convenient faucet. The problem with that push-button faucet was that it was very stiff and took a while for an adequate amount of the normally thick liquid detergent to be dispensed. That was a minor issue in the larger scheme, but one of these faucets relieved me of the anxiety of having to hold that stiff faucet button down every time I loaded the washing machine. :-)The old faucet was mounted on a screw lid, which made replacing it a breeze. I now refill the jug with a detergent of my choice and only need to flip the faucet handle and wait for the desired amount of detergent to be dispensed. The replacement faucet takes about the same amount of time to dispense, but it's no longer necessary to hold down that very stiff push-button. (This is a reminder to stop and smell the roses from time to time, and appreciate the little things.)These simple flip-handle faucets worked for my applications, and I'm confident they would work well on your ice coolers and for other purposes. I recommend them without reservation.Note: I suggest you do a little bit of homework before your purchase. Make sure the faucet will fit the final install location and that you have the tools and access to make the install.

Straightforward Repair
10.23.2024, WednesdayHonestly, not a bad replacement part for the *Brita UltraMax Water Filter Dispenser, White, 18 Cup*'s spigot/spout.The process is pretty straight forward, and took me only a couple of minutes after cleaning the unit out.Holding on to the internal plastic fastening nut, you simply twist the spout loose. This reminds you how tight you need to set it back to: Hand Tight - no need for extra torque. On my old UltraMax, the original spout only had one washer on the outside area.On the new one, I just went ahead and added one outside, and one inside prior to hand-tightening the fastening nut back on.That's it. Plain in simple. I'll make a note if it fails quickly, but it should all be simple mechanics. 🤞

Fits My Berkey Water Filter Perfectly
Developed a very slow drip in my original spigot, after several years of daily use. Name brand prices are absurd. This fit perfectly. No more drip. Now I'm a happy camper!

Great Brita UltraMax replacement.
Replaced the Brita UltraMax OEM spigot. I bought the 2 blue and 2 white spigot, 4 pack, with washers included. It fits fairly well. I installed it with a single washer on the outside of the reservoir (It has enough washers included to have both a washer inside and outside of the reservoir for all four spigots). It doesn't leak, seals and works well. Water flow is good. I washed and cleaned the entire water dispenser before installing the new spigot. I Love it and I'm glad to have three additional replacements with washers, as we also have a Brita XL Water dispenser that may need replacing one day.Just a side note; The UltraMax OEM spigot has a single white washer, located on the inside of the reservoir. It eventually ended up with a horrendous mildew like smell, and it transfered to the water in both taste and smell. There was no indication of mildew on the washer or why it smelled terrible. It took me several cleanings of the entire despencer to find that the washer was the problem. The OEM spigot actually still works, but I just wanted to replace the entire spigot assembly, rather than just the rubber washer. Anyway, I just thought I'd share this, incase anyone else has this problem.
