Works well, easy to use
Works great! I tore my MCL in a ski accident and needed a hinged brace to keep my knee stable during recovery. This brace is very comfortable and provides great stability to my very unstable knee. It is a little heavy but the lighter braces without the side frame were not providing as much support. Its well made and is easy to put on and take off.

Great brace if you read instructions
Broke my right knee and purchased this brace. If you read the instructions well and figure out how to use it properly and adjust it to your body it's great. It takes some time to do that but once you get it the brace is perfect. Yes it slides down sometimes but I noticed that if you put it on while your leg is elevated on the couch for example and then stand up your leg changes shape so you have to adjust it again while standing this should help with it sliding down.

Cheaper than the alternative
I bought this brace at the suggestion of my orthopedist. The one in office was going to cost $1000+. So, he suggested this one. Overall, it's getting the job done. The locks on the flexion/extension however, are not the best. They keep unlocking on their own accord. It's a bit frustrating when "walking", bc I'm at that stage where I must keep my knee straight. When it unlocks you'll feel a little click on the side that is no longer locked. To fix it, or try to lock it back in place, you have to take the brace off. It will not lock back unless the hinge is completely straight. Others have complained that the locks on the side helping to create or decrease length get unlocked. I found this only happens with me if I brush up on something like my crutch. The straps are long, but I assume it's to ensure it fits on anyone. Big or small. So I cut the strap to length for me. Overall, this deviced saved me $900 and has provided adequate stabilization for my knee. I'll take bad with the good.

This should be a hard pass
My old brace was about to become trash, the velcro and straps were old and done. This brace looked promising so I gave it a try. What others users said was true- it slides down ( I think all braces do), the settings come unset for no apparent reason, the sliding setting to adjust the length between the straps comes undone easily, all of this I was prepared for and was pretty easy to catch and correct. The straps are great and the velcro holds up really well. What I was not prepared for was the "metal side stabilizer" to snap in half. I barely got any use out of it. I am thinking maybe I got a defective brace? Will never know since I will probably never hear from the seller. I have a blown out knee, I can't wait around forever to hear back from the seller. Buyer beware!

It makes my knee feel stable and is comfortable all day! Great value as well as quality.
After reading alot of positive reviews I thought I'd give this Knee brace a try. And I'm so glad I did!! I haven't been able to hardly walk in the last 2 weeks after hearing a loud pop in my knee. I needed something to add stability to my knee so I can move around and not have the sensation that my knee was going to buckle underneath me. When I first put it on on my bare knee I was confused about the straps but after some practice with how to use them I don't have any Problems. The Brace is open on the back so if it bothers you against bare skin, wear it over a knee sleeve. That's what I did and it works Great!! Today I was actually able to do some housework and laundry without Pain!! And I owe it all to this Orthomen knee Brace!! Is my knee 100% now?! No. But this knee Brace is allowing me to actually walk with little to no pain. It will get me through until I see the Orthopedic Surgeon and he can figure out what's going on. If you're on the fence about ordering this... don't be. This thing has really helped me!! Thank You Orthomen!!❤

Slips slowly down the leg
It seems to be well made, and it is not an ugly device.Good velcro adhesion, with graduated straps from largest around thighs to smallest around calves. Can set the 'dials' to whatever range of motion you need.Had my physical therapist help me to get it set-up and fit. But, it would not stay up, no matter how many times we adjusted it. I even tried it on bare skin (NOT comfortable, and my 'old lady' skin suffered a couple of tears).

One leg up
This leg brace is well made and it does help. It takes a little practice to mount and set it up for the first time. It helps by distributing the weight above and below the knee and prevents the knee from over extending.

Can work for patellla issues
Really liking it so far. I took it to PT to get it adjusted to my leg. I am currently recovering from a knee dislocation so this was right up my alley. My knee feels secure and it avoids the uncomfortableness of sliding my injured leg into a knee brace
