Been using the OMRON X2 Smart+ for couple days now and it’s much better than my last blood pressure monitor. Easy to use, accurate readings, and it syncs with the OMRON Connect app which means that I no longer need to write my readings down on paper/book it can be tracked via the app. The cuff is comfortable and the hypertension/irregular heartbeat indicators are a nice touch. Overall, great value for home monitoring.I like the nice big clear display that is given by the device

Endorsed by the British Heart Foundation and widely used throughout the UK, Omron are acknowledged as being a company which manufactures accurate blood pressure monitors. I purchased this model to replace a previous Omron monitor which had failed to work after years of service.In terms of build quality, it is as you would expect at this price point. The unit comes complete with all you require to monitor your blood pressure as well as a drawstringstorage bag; it also comes with 4 Duracell AA batteries supplied.Instructions for use are basic, however there is a good tutorial online from either OMRON or the British Heart Foundation. What I found particularly useful is the ability to connect the unit to your mobile telephone via Bluetooth and the OMRON app. Once the app is installed the unit connects seamlessly via the connection button and then it is a simple matter of syncing data form the unit into your phone to keep a record. The app also connects to Apple Health which further permits integrating health data such as medication etc etc.Simple to use, accurate readings with the convenience of accumulating data in the supplied app, a definite 5 star rating. I have one word of caution regarding the manufacturer and that is in regard to contacting OMRON CUSTOMER SERVICES they use an AI system to respond by email and you ask a question and they respond with nonsensical answers, they also email you and invite a respone to offers and...........they don't exist!!

This is a good machine, but if you have big arms then the cuff won't fit you. I had to use the cuff on my forearm, as wouldn't fit the tops of my arms. This machine is more suited for kids and women in my opinion, hence the 4 stars. It fits my partner fine but can't get the Velcro to close on mine, Good little machine for the money though and accurate readings as i compared it to my more expensive Omron machine.

Very easy to use especially with the Omron Connect App. The App is free and although there is a paid option isn’t compulsory. The Omron and cuff are well made and clip together easily. It’s not clear if they should stay connected or can be separated after each session. They are reasonably hard to separate.Lots of instructions with the blood pressure device in many languages and a quick start guide may be useful.The Bluetooth linked quickly and so far has been reliable taking the recording from the Omron quickly. It’s recommended to take two readings morning and evening but not sure that I will do this.

We gave our son our original Blood pressure meter in favour of the newer version which was more expensive and had a hard pre-formed stiff arm band. It might have cost more but it didn't work properly, giving bad readings time and again or telling us to try again. There was a fault on it and so we sent it back under warranty and bought this lower cost one (same as the one we gave away), which worked first time used and never lets us down. My husband has AF and uses the blood pressure machine regularly to keep track of the atrial fibrilation. We would definitely recommend this particular pressure meter over anything more expensive or a different brand. The band fit is good. It's easy to use and doesn't need anything fancy or to be connected via Bluetooth.

this little gadget is fantastic - you just assemble the tube to the main device, put the sleeve on your arm and press go - it inflates, adjusts and then gives your blood pressure reading. simple and effective at £20. We all need to keep our BP under control - this enables regular readings

It does the job. Good product, Battery life is decent and easy to use. Good value for the money.
