Makes a soothing cup of tea for the occasional sore throat
Nicely chopped in the fashion of loose tea. Makes a refreshing cup of tea. I added lemon and honey following a recipe I found on the Web to make a soothing brew for a winter sore throat and it worked well. The "bag" of loose tea is re-sealable and hopefully will keep the chopped leaves fresh. Not something I would brew every day but nice to have on hand.

First taste strong and sweet, aftertaste very bitter
A steep in a steaming hot teapot made very strong, very bitter tea. Needs lots of honey or very short steep in warm water.
