A Review of ARCTIC Intel LGA1700 Upgrade Kit
I recently acquired the ARCTIC Intel LGA1700 Upgrade Kit, and it has certainly enhanced my cooling experience. However, I must express my disappointment in the fact that I had to purchase this kit separately. The manufacturer should have included it with the Liquid Freezer II Series liquid cooler that I previously bought.Setting aside that grievance, the upgrade kit itself is commendable. It provides the necessary components to adapt the Liquid Freezer II cooler for compatibility with the Intel LGA1700 socket. The installation process was straightforward, and the kit contained all the required screws and brackets.Once installed, the cooling performance was significantly improved. My processor now maintains optimal temperatures even during intensive tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operation. The ARCTIC Intel LGA1700 Upgrade Kit truly completes the liquid cooler setup, allowing me to maximize the potential of my system. While I wish the manufacturer had included this kit initially, I am still satisfied with its performance and the enhanced cooling it provides. If you find yourself in a similar situation, needing compatibility with the LGA1700 socket, the ARCTIC Intel LGA1700 Upgrade Kit is worth considering for a seamless cooling solution.

Works as advertised
Great product, I have had my 360 Freezer II for a few years now and was needing to upgrade my CPU. This part is exactly what I needed, and now I don't have to purchase a new AIO.

Must have for LGA 1700 conversion.
Great quality as always from Arctic. Is a must need if you want to reuse your Liquid Freezer 2 AIO coolers on the Alder Lake Z690, B660 and H610 motherboards. Putting it together is simple and only required 1 attempt to get right.

Don't waste your own time, purchase this kit when you purchase your AIO.
Like many others, my Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 did not come with the correct updated LGA1700 Mounting kit, it had the older version not seen here. I had read online this was a common issue, so I purchased this kit at the same time as ordering my AIO as to not be waiting on one specific thing to build my system.Fantastic AIO, solid kit, just wish this kit came with my purchase of the cooler and didn't need to be purchased separately, though I imagine eventually as Arctic goes through old stock, they'll eventually have all of their AIOs revised up to this newest mounting kit. If you're reading this in 2022 or 2023 and you don't want to waste your own time, order this when you purchase your AIO.Although you can contact Arctic support to have them send you one for free, when I did they said they were out of stock, so if you don't want to just sit on hardware ready to install for days (or weeks if they are out of stock, which from reading Reddit seems like they often are), be proactive and get this.Hopefully Arctic gets their ducks fully in a row when it comes time to make a Liquid Freezer III, because this can be a headache for users who aren't fully read up on all of their hardware purchases.

Keep your cooler
I have a test bench with a Liquid Freezer II 360 AIO and needed something for LGA 1700 so I'm glad I didn't have to buy a new cooler and can continue to use the same one for another generation or two. Thanks Arctic, for making sure your product doesn't end up as e-waste and making a cooler that can even keep up with a 13700K

If you don't have an Intel mount.
Bought a used Arctic Liquid Freezer II that only had an AMD mount. This did the trick.

Backplate won't fit
Don't bother ordering this kit. I tried contacting Arctic about it, but it's been about a week and no reply through their ticket system. The problem is that the backplate doesn't sit flush with the back of the motherboard because it's improperly machined/pressed, so the backplate presses on the back of the CPU load plate, causing a 2-3mm gap between the standoff nut and the back of the motherboard, which will in turn cause improper pressure distributed on the cooler. Not sure what this kit is for. Doesn't seem to work for anyone who wants to properly mount their AIO. Not sure why Arctic is still selling this on their site and on Amazon. All the Youtube vids and Reddit posts you see of people installing Arctic AIOs all have the updated flat backplate (it's the old LGA1200 backplate) with the LGA1700 hexagon cut out. I've yet to find a video/post of someone properly installing their AIO with this bulky "LGA1700 kit" lol.The solution to this is 1 of 3 things:1. Hopefully the AIO you ordered comes with the updated flat backplate, with the LGA1200 and LGA1700 hexagon cut out2. Contact Arctic and have them send you the updated flat backplate3. If you don't want to do either of the above options and your motherboard has the LGA1200 holes, use the LGA1200 backplate. The LGA1200 and LGA1700 standoff bolts are the same length/size

ARCTIC Intel LGA1700 Upgrade Kit
This ARCTIC Intel LGA1700 Upgrade Kit - for Liquid Freezer II Series fits perfectly and works great. Some kits to come with the LGA1700 back plate so sometimes you may think it doesn't come with the AIO cooler and they do, but this one is made real well and stronger. Recommend it.
