A great replacement to the Anycubic Mega Zero hotend.
Typical that when I finally managed to get my Anycubic Mega Zero printer working on a regular basis, the hotend dies...I looked all over for a specific replacement and was so confused by the choices that I was tempted to just buy a new printer. However, I did read that this particular hotend could be a good replacement for my faulty one and I'm glad I took the plunge and bought it.It came well packaged, was easy to fit and saved me the cost of a brand new 3d printer.

Affordable hotend replacement (SOVOL SV01 Pro)
I've bought a few of these now at £11.99 to replace the hotend on my SOVOL SV01 PRO (an Ender 3 clone). Most of them worked great — I only had one faulty unit, but Amazon made the return painless.I did have to swap out the heat break (that’s the metal tube where the filament enters and starts to get hot) for the original SV01 Pro part, but once that was done, it worked like a charm. For the price, it's a solid choice if you’re doing maintenance or upgrades. Just be prepared to mix and match parts a bit depending on your printer.

Ender 3 V2 hot end replacement
It is what it says it is. Kit to replace the hot end. Comes with the actual heat element, fan, casing and wiring. Works just fine. You need to remove your existing hot end (3 screws, one on case, two on heat element). Flip the printer over, open the mother board hatch. Follow your cable back from the hot end and disconnect all of them. Feed the new hot end cable through the sheeth and connect all the wires back up. There is a video on YouTube if you forgot what goes where. One thing I noticed is my blue and yellow wires are red and black on the replacement. Still works, no difference really. Put back on the mother board enclosure (didnt bother put the case back in fully, one screw will do, it's a mess in there). Then just bolt back on your hot end to the rail. Tidy up the loose cables with some tiny tie wraps.Be warned. They decided to slather hot glue all over the connections on the motherboard. Don't just pull them out. Use the tiny screw driver that came with the printer to wiggle the connections free before pulling them out. Also, that little green bar connector with the screw down connections, it's not a normal screw pinching the wire. When you unscrew, it opens a little hatch closer to the screw head side. This dove me a bit nuts as I expected it to pinch down the other way. Ended up removing the motherboard entirely to see what was going on.This is a dose of a job, and despite being very straightforward the design of the printer internals is really cramped and a pain to deal with. The hot glue makes it way worse. In the end it works just fine. And if a part of this printer ever fails again, I'm pulling the plug and buying an elagoo resin printer and never looking back.

Out of the box faulty, thermcouple shorted to hot block - is there any quality control at Creality?
Old hot end thermocouple broke reporting over temperature fault, suspect shorting to hot end block. Thought about trying to fix (bodge) it but decided to 'play it safe' a get a proper new Creality one.Spent this morning fitting new one, threading the cables etc. Turned on, the same error. So thought 'oh well it must also be a fault with the motherboard'.Just in case I checked the new thermocouple and found it was a dead short to the hot end block. The retaining screw was in so tight the thermocouple wire had cut through the PTFE on both sides and both wires were shorting to the block.I am so annoyed that I wasted a couple of hours fitting it. What sort of quality control do Creality do that they don't perform the most basic basic resistance test on these? I think I know, absolutely none.Faulty and unusable from new. As I've spent time fitting it am thinking of making up a silicone washer to fix it. Don't worry Creality, I have got you, don't bother selling products that actually functional at all!

My hot end on my ender 5 had failed so i bought this as a replacement. I have completed several jobs so far and it works great.

Great replacement for an unexpected clog...
My original hot end got clogged up on an overnight print... By the time I got to it, the filament had completely cooled around the hot end and there was NO way I was getting it off as it wouldn't heat up anymore.A quick purchase and I was back to printing again! The quality of this hot end feels just like the original, if not better!Be aware, it doesn't come with screws that hold the hot end to the bracket, so make sure you keep your old ones handy! After cutting the included bowden tube, it fitted perfectly onto my direct drive. The trickiest part was chasing the thermistor cable and controller wires through the protective cable netting. If you have a look on my picture, you can see which to replace.I fitted this, did a quick hot end calibration and I was good to go!Great quality and great replacement hot end. Would definitely recommend!

Second one i have got
This is the second one I have had to buy in a space of 4 months. A nice bit of kit but on first one I got the hot end cooling fan started to make a noise and to the point it stopped working. So I ordered another which after 4th print the temp sensor was given wrong temp so hot end kept blocking up. At first did not realise this and got new rollers for all axles, got new bed leveling kit I even got a new stepper motor for the feed system. As I was thinking the motor was on its way out as I have had printer from new for 2 years and done a load of printing on it. But it turned out and how I found out was I got the 1 hot end kit out with damaged cooling fan and plugged it in and room temp was massive difference so I went on to order some new hot end sensors a got a pack of 5 and I'm yet to have an issue. What I have done with this second kit I got was cooling fan for hot end I used a silicone spray to lube to fan bush which I hope it helps with it not working and I get some use out of it so 3.5 stars
