SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE SILICONE!!!!
I'm a woman, 5'5" and have the 42mm Garmin Epix 2 â the silicone band that came with the watch was unforgiving, didn't fit well, was either too loose or too tight and trapped moisture. I had reduced wrist mobility and was uncomfortable. I am writing this review 17 minutes after receiving this new ultrafit nylon strap. IMMEDIATE relief and comfort. Full range and wrist mobility. Watch face stays put where it needs to rest on the protruding wrist bone instead of pushing against it. I can't weigh in on breathability but I'm immediately convinced that will improve as well.

Item Doesnât Function on Forerunner 165
I tried this strap on a new Forerunner 165 and it doesnât fit between the watch body and the quick release pin. When installed by looping it as shown in the directions but by removing the pins and installing them over the strap, then the strap canât be adjusted to fit over your wrist to put it on! Super frustrated and past my return window.

Buy a cheaper non Garmin version
I feel kinda silly having bought this. I wanted to think that because it was Garmin branded that it might be of higher quality than your average watch band of similar construction. Nope. This is a $15 band on a good day, $40 is criminal. To add to that, I can barely fit my large hand through the loop to get it on and off. Once on, I'll admit that it is indeed comfortable... But again, you can achieve the same for less than half. Lame.

Does not work with Epix Pro 20mm
The band has to be removed to get it on my wrist, and the process of putting the band on is not easy. They just copied a cheap Chinese design without testing it. Can't believe they sell this for their watches that sell for over $1200 new. Have to sell the watch because I can't find a band that works.

Poorly conceived
There are many ways to make a simple nylon band for a watch. Garmin has chosen the most complicated and least functional I can imagine. Nothing like an over designed product. Itâs comfortable, but almost impossible to get on without pushing a bunch of buttons. Is a pain to get on the watch and not that easy to get off. Thereâs a bunch of straps out there that are twice the band at half the price.

Disappointing Quality and Design
I was genuinely disappointed with this Garmin watch strap. From the moment I installed it, it was clear that the quality was subpar. The Velcro felt flimsy and actually began to show signs of wear just from the installation process. Itâs almost as if no real thought went into the designâlike the engineers overlooked basic durability and functionality. The strap doesnât live up to Garminâs usual standards and is frankly frustrating to use. I expected much better quality for the price. Wouldnât recommend it if youâre looking for a long-lasting, reliable strap. Not worth $2 let alone $40.
