Game Changer
Got this for my elderly mother with MD. She is pretty tiny and it is quite heavy, so she just seems to hold it rather than putting it around her neck.However, with the lights around the side and the 10x magnification, she can now see the washing machine programmes with out needing both a torch and magnifier, thus 1 free hand.If you are using this for close up work you will notice a huge difference, and you can mould the loop bit any which way you want. It will stand alone, round your neck, 90 degrees to the floor or table or you.Excellent buy and for anyone using it for reading, sewing, etc etc, highly recommend.

Very versatile as it can be easily positioned for the task in hand. So much more stable than my previous hands free magnifier!

Brilliant light
Pros and cons for this item. It is by far the best light I have come across for my needs (close work needle work), but fully charged I'm lucky if I can use it for two hours before having to recharge, this is a problem as I generally stitch every evening for hours on end. I find the whole thing heavy around my neck and the loop is too long and not flexible enough.I would not buy another one even though the light is brilliant, it simply doesn't hold the charge enough for my needs.

A Godsend
I have been trying to do some cross stitch and found it just about impossible because of the small holes. My husband bought me this magnifying light, and it's perfect .

Not for us
Smaller viewing glass than used on the images although the dimensions were correct. So it’s not as big as at looks in the pr.The magnification was increased but much different to normal viewing.My mum has AMD so it was worth a try but not of any use to us unfortunately, also she could not live with the frame around her neck and chest.
